How does the Baby Quasar work?
Using 24 powerful LEDs, the Quasar MD and Baby Quasar deliver powerful light with the highest degree of spectral purity. This pure red and infrared light improve the healthy appearance and natural radiance of the skin. Exclusive SequePulse® Technology is our answer to the challenges of working with different light wavelengths. Our devices sequentially pulse the light, allowing it to more deeply penetrate the skin, giving you quicker, more noticable results.
How soon can I expect to see results?
Results vary based on skin type, age and damage due to sun and smoking. Many may see a radiant glow after the first treatment and most users will see the full benefits within eight to 12 weeks.
Are Quasar devices safe?
Yes. Treatments are painless and can be used on all skin types. Some skin is sensitive to red and infrared light and may experience redness that lasts several hours, so test the device on your arm or leg before first using it on your face.
How many days a week should I use my Quasar?
Baby Quasar Red – Every other day or less, as needed, for 24 minutes.
Baby Quasar Blue – Can be used daily.
Additional benefits are not achieved through more frequent treatments, and overuse of your Quasar can lead to dry skin. After eight weeks of consistent use, fewer treatments are needed to maintain the benefits.
Do Quasar devices compliment skin care serums and moisturizers?
Yes. Quasar devices can be used with skincare products. Ideally, use your topical serum immediately before your light treatment.
Can I use it after a chemical peel, microdermabrasion or laser treatment?
Yes. The Quasar treatment helps soothe the skin.
